Payments
Do you take cash?
Due to the fact that we bill automatically every week and every other week, we only accept credit cards that allow for recurring payments. It would be a large hassle for both us and our customers to physically transact every service. If you are absolutely unable to use a credit card, then please Contact Us to see if we can work something out.
How often do you bill?
We bill as often as we scoop for weekly and bi-weekly subscriptions. So if you are scooped every week, then your card will be charged every week. Likewise, if you are scooped every other week, then your card will be charged every other week. For 2x/Week subscriptions, you are billed weekly.
How much does it cost to pick up dog poop?
Our dog poop pickup service pricing depends upon two variables. First, how often do you want us to scoop? We currently offer twice per week, once per week, and every other week scooping subscriptions. Second, how many dogs do you have? The price increases as the number of dogs goes up.
Signing Up
Where do I sign up?
Signing up with Idaho Poop Scoop pickup service is a simple and quick process. Just go to our Sign Up page, fill out your information, and we will be clearing your yard of dog poop within 48 business hours of sign up!
How long does signing up take?
Signing up takes less than 3 minutes! All we need is some information from you so that we know where to scoop, and then you can pay with any credit card. It is that easy!
Can I choose when you come to scoop?
Yes! When you subscribe you will be able to choose what day and what time of day we come to scoop. Please note there is a fee for both of these options as we prioritize you over other customers.
Do you do one time cleanups?
Yes, we offer one-time cleanups! The service is $79 for up to one hour of scooping. If the job takes longer than an hour (which is rare), additional time is prorated at the same $79/hour rate.
How soon will you be out to start scooping?
We will be out on the next business day after sign up!
Scooping Process
How often do you pickup dog poop?
You get to decide whether we scoop your yard twice per week, once per week, or every other week.
Does my dog need to be inside?
We love interacting with our clients dogs and have absolutely no problem with your dog being out in the yard while we scoop poop. However, if your dog is aggressive, then we do ask that it be kept inside.
What day will you pick up dog poop?
We scoop dog poop Monday – Friday. If you want, for a small fee, you can choose what day we scoop your yard when you subscribe! If you don’t want to pay for a day, then we schedule you into the day that works best with our routes and that day stays very consistent! If we ever need to change the day, we will let you know in advance.
Hours and Days of operation?
Our hours of operation are Monday – Friday from 7:00 A.M. – 6:00 P.M.
What is the easiest way to pick up dog poop?
We have found that a rake like tool and a large “scooper” bucket with a handle is the best way to scoop dog poop. The bucket has a bag on it, and we use the rake to scoop the poop into the scooper. Read about our complete poop scooping process.
Do you scoop rocky, dirt, or "other" areas?
In short the answer is yes, but at our discretion. If an area is too difficult or time consuming to scoop, then we will communicate that with the customer and either adjust the weekly rate or cancel the service. This is very rare, however, and we can scoop most areas easily.
How do you scoop soggy dog poop?
“Very carefully” is about the best answer we can give.
What happens if my yard gets skipped?
If we cannot scoop your yard due to reasons outside of our control (locked gates, aggressive dogs out, blocked entry into yards), then we will be out on your next scheduled visit. We continue to bill the full subscription amount as our team will have double the work the following visit and we pay them double for that visit. If you choose to scoop your yard that week of the skipped day, we will issue you a full refund!
What happens if it snows?
If we get enough snow that we are unable to scoop, then we will be out on your next scheduled visit. We continue to bill the full subscription amount as our team will have double the work the following visit and we pay them double for that visit. If you choose to scoop your yard that week of the snow day, we will issue you a full refund!
What if my trash can is inside the garage?
After scooping, we seal the bag and leave it in an easy-to-find spot, like behind your gate or near the garage. You’ll also get a text letting you know exactly where it’s placed.
Canceling Subscriptions
When can I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel your dog poop pickup subscription at any time. You can read our full cancelation policy. If you would like to cancel your subscription, go to the Current Customers page and cancel there.
Is there a minimum subscription time?
No, there is no minimum subscription time. We hope to form long standing relationships with our clients, but it is perfectly fine if you only want us to pickup dog poop for a little while. You can read our cancelation policy here.
